 1. How can i become a wedding consultant/ planner?

By signing up for a course with WMBA class of course!

In the past years, there were no courses available; planners and consultants learned by trial and error.  At the WMBA you will learn from certified instructors with years of personal local and international experience in the wedding and special event industries.  You will also receive a workbook of invaluable information and forms to guide you through the process. 2. How do I know if I will become successful and is there real demand for wedding consultants?

Yes. As explained earlier, the demand is high but only for qualified experienced wedding consultants and in fact exceeds supply. Determination, being detail-oriented, organized, creative and the ability to network and work well with others are some of the characteristics of a good consultant. Training through Wedding MBA is recommended to obtain the knowledge to properly plan and direct a wedding. Membership adds a level of credibility and support that others lack. Knowledge breeds confidence and confidence breeds success.

3. How much can I earn?

As much as you want, depending on your specific target market, whether you work part-time or full time, location, your area of expertise, the services you will offer and value you place on your time and efforts. Consultants usually charge between 10 to 20% of the total wedding cost or a flat fee.

5. Do I need to have any special training or work experience before enrolling in a WMBA Course?

Each of our Courses teaches you from the ground up. We start with the basics and then build on this foundation until you've achieved mastery of advanced techniques. If you do have prior experience, the better. Some of the material might be a review for you, but you'll also learn a great deal that is brand-new, including countless insider tricks-of-the-trade.

However, please note that a minimum high school or equivalence is required to enroll

6. I've been away from school for some time. Will I have difficulty adjusting to being back in school?

Because the WMBA experience is so flexible, this probably won't be an issue.

Whenever you feel ready. Some WMBA students start earning money from freelance work before they even complete our Courses. As a result, many students pay for their entire tuition — and more — from just one freelance job as a wedding and event planner.

As we've mentioned, the Event Planning Courses require a high school diploma or equivalency. Other than that, there are three things we need you to bring to your WMBA Course:
